Shamik is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of sales, marketing, business development, general management, and technical experience in the high tech industry. Prior to joining FusionOps, Shamik was a senior sales executive and a member of the executive committee of TIBCO Finance Technology where he played a key role in growing TIBCO from an early stage start up to a publicly traded company. While at TIBCO, he established the international market and grew it to 50% of the total revenue. Prior to joining TIBCO, Shamik spent 13 years at Hewlett Packard, where he held key positions in domestic, international and Industry marketing, Sales Management and MIS management. He has also done a stint at EDS as a Systems Engineer, developing applications for healthcare industry. Shamik holds MBA from Miami University in Marketing and Quantitative Analysis and Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.
