That's been "the way of rdflib" from the very beginning: incompatible and often trivially silly API changes between minor point releases. (Btw, "trivially silly" here means endless class and method renames without accompanying functionality change, etc.) Complaining about this hasn't ever made any difference, so you'll either have to get used to it or find something else to use.
