Hi everyone,
Here’s a brief summary of our weekly *Apache ResilientDB (Incubating)*
community
meeting held on *February 23, 2026* for those who couldn’t attend:

Attendees: Aahan Rathod, Bismanpal Anand, Dakai Kang, Devang Borkar,
Junchao Chen, Kenny Sun, Krishi Shah, Mohammad Sadoghi, Shaokang Xie, Urmil
Chandarana

Brief Summary
The meeting focused on the status of a software release pending final
Apache IPMC votes, with Bismanpal planning to follow up on the remaining
vote. The team discussed updates to README files and diagrams to reflect
new features and ecosystem components, which are important for graduation
criteria. Devang and Kenny were identified as needing to complete ICLA
forms and provide commit evidence to become official ResilientDB
committers, with Bismanpal coordinating the process. The team also reviewed
progress on CharityTap integration fixes, UI improvements for Beacon, and
Urmil's work on implementing Gas fee functionality, with a target for
rudimentary development by early April.
*Action Items:*

   - Send a reminder email to the Apache IPMC mailing list requesting the
   third vote for the release.
   - Update the README file and diagrams to reflect new features,
especially in the "quick facts" and software stack/SDK sections, including
the new AI features and the ecosystem.
   - Raise a new pull request today to add the ResShare SDK to the SDK
folder in the main ResilientDB repository, including both Devang and Kenny
   as committers.
   - Continue work on adding smart contract execution UI/command to
ResContract and support CharityTap team as needed.
   - Start the committer voting process for Chris and Kunjal once their
ICLAs and commit evidence are received.

Apache Release Voting Status
The team discussed the status of a release that requires one more vote from
the Apache IPMC. Bismanpal agreed to send a reminder email about the
pending vote and, if that doesn't work, to reach out to individual voters.
They also discussed updating diagrams and descriptions in the README file
to reflect new features and the expanded ecosystem. Mohammad suggested
adding new bullet points for AI features and redrawing the stack diagram to
include the ecosystem.

ResilientDB Committer Process Discussion
The team discussed the process for becoming official ResilientDB
committers, with Mohammad emphasizing the importance of updating commit
histories and completing ICLAs. Devang confirmed his commitment to the core
ResilientDB and agreed to share his commit history with Bismanpal, while
Kenny was instructed to share his commits with Bismanpal directly rather
than using the private email address. Devang also mentioned plans to raise
a PR for adding the ResShare SDK to the SDK folder, which would include
contributions from both Devang and Kenny. Mohammad requested that Harish
and Junchao review Devang's work.

Committer Process and Integration Updates
The team discussed the process for new committers, with Bismanpal
explaining that Chris and Kunjal already have commits and the next steps
involve filing an ICLA and submitting a proposal email to become a
committer. Devang agreed to follow the process and Bismanpal provided
guidance on accessing the ICLA form through the ResilientDB website. They
also addressed issues with CharityTap's integration of smart contracts,
which were resolved after Bismanpal identified and fixed bugs related to
the monorepo setup. The team noted that while the deployment was
successful, the execution of smart contracts through RESContract still
needs a UI to be developed.

Development Updates and Collaboration Plans
Mohammad and Bismanpal discussed ongoing pull requests and development
work, with Bismanpal confirming that some fixes were in the development
branch but not yet merged to master. They mentioned that Ahan was working
on UI fixes for Beacon and would be collaborating with Bismanpal, with
weekly meetings scheduled every 7-10 days. Urmil and Bismanpal planned to
meet later in the week to discuss the Gas fee implementation, which Urmil
had been working on.
