Here’s a brief summary of our weekly *Apache ResilientDB (Incubating)*
community
meeting held on *March 16, 2026* for those who couldn’t attend:

Attendees: Bismanpal Anand, Dakai Kang, Devang Borkar, Harish Krishnakumar,
Junchao Chen, Kenny Sun, Mohammad Sadoghi, Shaokang Xie, Urmil Chandarana

Brief Summary
The meeting focused on the status of a software release pending final
Apache IPMC votes, with Bismanpal planning to follow up on the remaining
vote. The team discussed updates to the architecture diagram to reflect new
features and ecosystem components, which are important for graduation
criteria. The team also discussed the progress of new committers being
voted as a part of the project with plans to compile the results this week.
*Action Items:*

   - Finalize the latest release by getting in touch with IPMC members.
   - Update the architecture diagram on the website
   - Continue work on adding smart contract execution UI/command to
   ResContract
   - End the committer voting process for Chris, Kunjal  and Devang once
   their ICLAs and commit evidence are received.

Apache Release Voting Status
The team discussed the status of a release that requires one more vote from
the Apache IPMC. Team discussed to contact IPMC members in case they do not
get a vote in the next few days. They also discussed updating diagrams and
descriptions on github to reflect new features and the expanded ecosystem.
Mohammad reviewed the new bullet points for AI features and redrawing the
stack diagram to include the ecosystem.

ResilientDB Committer Process Discussion
The team discussed the process for becoming official ResilientDB
committers, with Mohammad emphasizing the importance of updating commit
histories and completing ICLAs. Devang confirmed his commitment to the core
ResilientDB, while Kenny was instructed to share his commits with Bismanpal
directly. Devang also mentioned plans to raise a PR for adding the ResShare
SDK to the SDK folder, which would include contributions from both Devang
and Kenny. Mohammad requested that Harish and Junchao review Devang's work.

Committer Process
The team discussed the process for new committers, with Bismanpal given the
task to compile the on-going vote threads and move to the next step of
finalizing their ICLA form.

Development Updates and Collaboration Plans
Harish discussed updates on the architecture diagram, the team also
discussed more ideas into making the diagram more functional. The website
was also reviewed with suggestions to remove redundant text content, to
keep it minimal, and also mobile friendly.
