Dear Apache RocketMQ Developers,
I hope you are all doing well. My name is Divyansh Agrawal, and I am an
undergraduate student with a strong interest in distributed systems, concurrent
programming, and software development.
I am eager to contribute to Apache RocketMQ through Google Summer of Code
(GSoC) 2025, specifically working on the project "Optimizing RocketMQ's POP
Orderly Consumption Process." Over the past few weeks, I have been exploring
RocketMQ’s architecture, internal mechanisms, and existing challenges related
to message consumption optimization.
With a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving, I
have actively participated in GeeksForGeeks problem-solving and Codeforces
contests, securing 99.93 percentile in Mathematics in JEE Mains. Additionally,
I have been working on deep learning-related projects, particularly in
convolutional neural networks (CNNs), though my expertise in ML is still
developing.
I would love to learn from the community regarding:

  * The current challenges in RocketMQ’s POP Orderly Consumption.
  * Key areas of improvement and best practices for contributing effectively.
  * Any relevant issues, performance bottlenecks, or additional resources
that could help me gain a deeper understanding.

I am excited about the possibility of contributing to RocketMQ and look forward
to collaborating with all of you. Please let me know how I can get started in
the most effective way.
Best regards,
Divyansh Agrawal
