i am now on the latest version of roller. full info is:
roller v3.1, on windows 2000 server with a local of "English (UK)", java
1.5.0_06-b05, in tomcat 5.5.15

and i still have the issue with a "/" in a category name eg "t / v"
the link becomes
http://dev.blogs.openaccesscentral.com/blogs/bmcblog/category/t+%2F+v
and is this in the address bar of firefox...which appears correct, but going
there results in an apache 404 saying

The requested URL /blogs/bmcblog/category/t+/+v was not found on this server.

other characters are fine its just "/"

tomcat server.xml does have URIEncoding="UTF-8" in the 8080, 8009 connector tag

any ideas??

thanks
james

Hmm... I tried &, = and / in category names before I responded -- and
it worked for me but I'm using the very latest Roller source. What
version of Roller are you using?
