I don't know what to suggest here, sounds like you have things
configured properly for Tomcat. When Tomcat starts, does it indicate
that it is listening on port 8000?

The reason I suggested that is because I believe Acegi 2.0 includes
OpenID support.

Matt, can you comment on the difficulty of a move from Acegi 1.2 to Acegi 2.0?
