Thanks to Tatyana's hard work and the Google Summer of Code program,
OpenID support is ready to roll. I had to do a little additional work
over the weekend to smooth things out, polish the UI and add a unit
test but I think it looks good now and is ready to be committed.
Feedback is most welcome, so if you have some time then please take a
look.
I have updated the proposal to reflect the current implementation (and
to include a couple of screenshots)
