I'm running Roller 4.0 on Sun Java System Application Server with a MySql database. I'm running into an issue in which trying to post a comment results in a 'Comment authentication failed!' error. However, if a user logs in, they can make a comment. Even if the user logs out and not close the browser they can post a comment without any trouble. If they restart the browser and try to post a comment without logging in, they get the error. No exceptions are thrown in the logs. It appears that Roller looks for something in the session as part of the comment authentication mechanism.
This occurs in the latest versions of Firefox, IE & Safari. As for blog settings, comments are allowed and 'Moderate comments' is not checked. For global site-wide settings, comments are allowed and 'Require comment moderation for all weblogs' is not checked. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Eric
