I will be happy to discuss any ideas you might have for a GSOC, answer your questions and help you (and other students) create great proposals for GSOC. Please direct your questions and points for discussion to the dev mailing list. We have to build a good proposal because only a small number of proposals will be chosen for all of Apache. In past years there were 30-40 projects selected across the ASF. Since there is only one Roller mentor (so far) it is likely that there will be at most one Roller project selected. Thanks, - Dave
