I did the following smoke test using
roller-weblogger-5.0.2-for-tomcat.tar.gz and
roller-weblogger-5.0.2-source.tar.gz
- signature verification passed
- installed exploded war on my apache-tomcat-7.0.42,
mysql-connector-java-3.1.14-bin.jar, JDK 1.7.0_21, MySQL 5.5.29, MacOS 10.9
- note: only used locale en-US
- installed on prior roller 5.0 db, tested basic posting and comment
- did from-scratch installation, tested basic posting and comment
Also examined source of UIAction.java to confirm those patches, and
spot-checked PingTargetsBase.java similarly.
Found no issues.
