I just changed the target branch of my old Lucene PR* to master.
I haven't noticed that github added this feature 4 years ago :)since the changes in my WIP branch are not independent from each other i am going to wait until its integrated before i create new PRs. Otherwise it could get complicated if I would have to incorporate changes.
