Alex, just to make sure you dont't get me wrong: I really really appreciate the effort in order to simplifiy the build and release process!! And I am pretty sure that your approval script will help to lower the hurdle for others (non-PMC) to vote for a release! It is just not so easy for me to understand all the details and what is going on behind the scene with Maven and Jenkins and whatever... so I am trying to get more familar with this stuff step by step.
