I think you're assuming that centering is "horizontal", but "itemsCentered"
refers to vertical centering (that's how flex-box is designed)
So removing that makes all items (label, required indicator, and content)
be up to the top, what seems a bit ugly.

I think the problem is not to have the default setup of vertical centered
items in FormItem, since that is just the concrete look of the Jewel Theme.
In fact, that should be moved to the specialized layout once we have it (we
have no hurry to do this for now).

Coming back to the problem itself, I committed a rewrite of alignment rules
in css to avoid "!important" to be easily override, and I think now it all
behaves better and should be easily override in your app.
