Hi Lewis, Thanks for the good wishes! If you just want a local installation of Rya, the vagrant file at https://github.com/apache/incubator-rya/tree/master/extras/vagrantExample/src/main/vagrant
might be helpful. The Rya version in the vagrant file should be changed (see the TODOs in that file), but otherwise it should work to create a VM with a Rya instance running on it. Hope this helps.
