Hi, I hope everyone is doing well and has some time to enjoy the summer. Rya's Project Management Committee would very much like to increase the activity in the project. We would like to encourage more people to participate in the project, in any capacity.
Several ways to contribute to the project are listed at https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/RYA/Contributing+to+Rya One way to contribute is by reviewing pull requests, There are several pull requests open and it would be very useful if people would review some of them and offer comments and suggestions. Even if only committers can merge the pull requests, having the PRs reviewed by multiple people increases the quality of the project and makes the committers' job easier. Reviewing PRs is also one way to contribute to the project, and all contributions are evaluated when a person is considered as a possible committer.
