Hey Garry,

I totally agree. We just got bit by this with SAMZA-203. I introduced a
regression in January that wasn't caught until now. We really need
performance tests.

I also agree it's not a blocker for Samza 0.7.0. No one has any completed
work that I know of, so the ticket is all yours if you want it.
