Verified keys and signature, tested release. +1 Also, a note for those new to the process: This is the first of two votes necessary for a podling release. The podling community, and in particular the podling PMC, needs to approve this release. Everyone who has the time and inclination should check the release and vote, although only the PPMC members votes are binding on a release. Verifying the release involves checking the signature, md5 key, licensing, running tests and, if possible, running the RC against real workloads.
Once we approve this release through a vote, a second vote is run on the Incubator list where the artifacts will get a thorough going over. Assuming that vote succeeds, we're good to go. -Jakob On Wed, Jun 25, 2014 at 12:47 PM, Martin Kleppmann < [email protected]> wrote: > This is a call for a vote on a release of Apache Samza 0.7.0 (incubating). > This is our first release in the Apache Incubator.
