How bout... $ pdf2ps watermark.pdf watermark.ps $ ps2epsi watermark.ps watermark.eps and use that EPS file as a background graphic. Note: you don't see the grpahic within OO.o because OO.o does not natively support EPS. But when you print you'll see it on paper. Beyond this, I have no idea of any other way...
