which is just an attachment to Issue 8808 (i8808) http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=8808 The highlights of this code are given in my original post as well as in i8808. Although I didn't do everything I hoped to do due to time constraint, this code should be a good starting point to do derivative work. As always, comments are welcome.
