Developers,
I
am submitting my intermediate status report for my project: Validation of Spreadsheet Functions.
I have selected four different competing spreadsheet
programs to compare the functions of Calc against: Microsoft Excel, Corel
QuattroPro, Ability Spreadsheet, and Lotus 1-2-3. Following their delivery, I
set out and completed listing all of the functions that are included with each
program, using Calc to record each function. The comparison chart (a list of all
functions that Calc has versus the competitors) shall be completed by the end of
the week. Additionally, I am developing the test cases for project which I hope
to have completed by next week. At that time I am going to plug them into the
comparable functions and deliver the final document.
Overall, I am progressing on schedule.
