I'm asking whether you are planning to implement user defined error bars within charts in OOCalc. I mean error bars like in Excel, where you can define a cell range for the error bars. This would make it possible for me to use OOo instead of MSO.
Yes, it is planned. For x-error bars there is Issue 64818 [1] and for data ranges for error-bars in general there is Issue 366 [2]. When it will be part of OOo is difficult to say. As we are still at the re-implementation of the chart, we still have some things to do before taking care of this kind of new features.
