GitHub user lkskjjk created a discussion: [DISCUSS] [GSoC 2026] Proposal on Enhancing Multi-Database AT Mode Support for Apache Seata-Go
Dear Apache Seata Community & Mentors, My name is lkskjjk, and I am writing to express my strong interest in contributing to **Apache Seata-Go** as part of the Google Summer of Code 2026. I have put together a project proposal focused on: 1. **Pluggable Data Layer:** Refactoring the current MySQL-centric codebase into a dialect-aware architecture, implementing native AT support for MariaDB and Oracle. 2. **Protocol Interoperability:** Ensuring that our Go-based metadata and Undo Log structures remain wire-compatible with the Java-based Seata-TC. 3. **Observability:** Upgrading `seata-ctl` into an intelligent, interactive diagnostic tool (TUI) to simplify XID tracing and health checks. I have attached my detailed project proposal (PDF). [gsoc314_proposal_seatadb.pdf](https://github.com/user-attachments/files/26807388/gsoc314_proposal_seatadb.pdf) Thank you for your time and guidance. I am eager to contribute to making `Seata-Go` a production-ready solution for heterogeneous database environments.
