After spending a bit of time on this:
* these are now very thin wrappers around spark_read_source
* changing them could be breaking for some people (not exactly the same output)
* hence I'm more inclined to not change them, but deprecate them and update
the documentation to say people should use spark_read_source
Would that be ok?
