Hi all, The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Sedona has invited Feng Zhang to become a committer and we are pleased to announce that he has accepted.
Feng is the No.4 contributor of Sedona in terms of lines of added code ( https://github.com/apache/sedona/graphs/contributors?selectedMetric=additions ). He has contributed many critical functions to Sedona including KNN Join and STAC reader. You can find his contribution here: https://github.com/apache/sedona/commits?author=zhangfengcdt Being a committer enables easier contribution to the project since there is no need to go via the patch submission process.
