Alex Ford resolved SENSSOFT-166.

Resolution: Implemented
Basic feature is done. Had a peer review with team with satisfactory results.
Performed additional HTTPS testing (both User ALE server and test page server
running HTTPS) and validated working functionality. Documentation up-to-date
and stored in the README.md that resides in the same directory as the web
extension code.
