Good to hear it's been working well for you. However I think you may be in
the same situation regardless of whether Sentry moves to the attic or not,
as for the last few months there has been no activity on the project, and
so far it doesn't sound like anyone will be maintaining it in the future.
Would you be interested in contributing to & maintaining the project? Is
there any new development you're interested in? Again, even if the project
moves to the Attic, user mailing lists still exist, and project forks are
allowed / linked to by the Attic project, and nothing prevents any
commercial vendor from providing security updates, etc. on their forks.
