Hi,
I think Sentry grew healthy in last one and half year. Many new
features were added to make the Sentry more flexible, and can be integrated
with other components quickly. The community is activity and many contributors
are involved in the Sentry. I agree that sentry is qualified for a top level
project in Apache.

Hi,
Apache Sentry entered the incubation in August 2013. Since then the
community put out 4 releases from incubation. The project has build a healthy
and diverse community, 7 new committers (affiliated to 4 different
organisations) were added to the project during this period.
I believe the community has demonstrated that Apache Sentry can work as an
independent project. At this point we should move forward to become a top level
project in Apache.
