Hi, sentry mailing list members,

Recently, I enabled Sentry-HDFS ACL synchronization for importing data into
a Sentry-enabled Hive warehouse directory.
For configuration, I mainly referred to Cloudera documentation.

When the synchronization was enabled, it started to work without any
problem.
But several hours later, the synchronization became disabled (ACLs of the
directories in the Hive warehouse returned to the original states).

After hours of searching Web, I found the following page mentioning a
configuration property, "sentry.hdfs.integration.path.prefixes property".
https://community.cloudera.com/t5/Cloudera-Manager-Installation/CDH-5-4-and-HDFS-Sentry-Plugin-Sync/td-p/28991

The problem was that sentry.hdfs.integration.path.prefixes property is set
to /user/hive/warehouse as default, whereas it is not correct path for my
case.
I added this property to hive-site.xml and sentry-site.xml and everything
started to work fine.

I can't find any information on this property in Cloudera nor Apache Sentry
web pages.
Maybe we need to update the document for other users.

Best wishes,
Han-Cheol
