Hi All, We just finish March monthly hangout. The main topic of our discussion today is preparing for 1.7.0 Release:
- Reviewed the main New Features candidates for 1.7.0. They are Kafka Integration, Solr Integration, Solr Shell, Audit Log for Generic Model, Sentry Shell, Hive V2 (if e2e tests are complete), HDFS sync changes ( SENTRY-953 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SENTRY-953>, SENTRY-957 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SENTRY-957>). - Discussed new features required documentations. Sentry Shell documentations are completed (SENTRY-1006 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SENTRY-1006>). Other new features still need documentations. Thanks!
