The issue with building on a recent distribution is that the scons build

newer distribution and regenerate the report there.
I have Python 2.7.18 (installed through pyenv) and scons-local-2.3.5
(downloaded from SourceForge, IIRC) for such cases. Works just fine. And
OpenSSL 1.1.1, too; building that from source is almost trivial on a
Unix-like platform.
