Resolution: Won't Fix
Given that JDK 1.4 is deprecated, I don't think we will ever handle this
requirement.
I would advise to anyone looking for 1.4 support to use one of the nice tool
like
* retrotranslator (http://retrotranslator.sourceforge.net/)
* retroweaver (http://retroweaver.sourceforge.net/)
