Some time ago, I did a little prototype of a message archiving solution
for Apache ServiceMix that uses a JCR and Apache Sling underneath. The
prototype code is currently in the sandbox at
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix/sandbox/gertv/smx-sling/ and
I never managed to get back to it to build it into something useful. If
you are interested in working on this for your dissertation, feel free
to grab the code and experiment with it and just let me know if you need
any help with it...
