JBoss deployer dependency issues

There are several components that include unnecessary dependencies when
packaged. Generally speaking this doesn't affect anything except the package
size. However, when deployed inside the JBoss deployer (and possibly other
embedded scenarios) these redundant dependencies cause classloader conflicts.
Creating this issue to track various changes to fix the issues.
