Gert,
Since the default configuration has a queueSize that is 8-16 times as large as
the thread pool size, I would think we would want to maintain this ratio in the
tests or else they don't represent the real world. So, if the corePoolSize
needs to be increased, then I would increase the queue size as well. Do the
unit tests have problems when the queue size is > 0? If so, we should be sure
to at least open an issue for the deadlock, especially if we workaround the
problem here by setting the queue size to 0.
