I would tend to think that the issue is caused by ActiveMQ.
Gert indicated that when tests are hanging, some messages are left on the queue
and never dispatched to consumers, even if those are active and waiting for
messages.
I will disable the tests for now, but we need to keep this JIRA opened and fix
the problems.
