There is a problem with the minus char inside the components properties
definition.

The "persistent-id" attribute value should not contain a minus char. If there
is a minus char inside, you are never able
to override the configuration by placing a config file inside the etc folder of
SMX4. The pid will be messed up to something
like "servicemix.325253-234234-234324-24111" and thus never been applied to the
component.
To avoid this behaviour there are two options:
# rename all persistent-id values to use . instead of -
# rework the logic for parsing pids out of config files
