The switch-over to karaf/blueprint ended up over-writing some of my changes to
the spring config required for the management refactor (SMX4NMR-140).
This was probably because the META-INF/spring/*.xml files were replaced with
*new* OSGI-INF/blueprint/*.xml files while out on an integration branch, and
when the branch was merged to trunk some changes that had been made to the
spring files in the meantime were then blown away.
Freeman took care of one of these elements of lost config in
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?rev=815593&view=rev
There are a few more though that need to be fixed.
