Hi Juanjo,
ServiceMix 4.1.0 will never be out. Currently the 4.1.0-SNAPSHOT will be
renamed to ServiceMix 4.2.0 at release time.
Concerning ServiceMix 3.3.2, I have made some fixes and it quite ready
to be released. However, if we release ServiceMix components 2010.01, I
prefer to wait this release to cut ServiceMix 3.3.2.

JB

Hi guys,
BTW, What about ServiceMix 4.1.0 and ServiceMix 3.3.2 releases?
Thanks.

Hi Gert,
+1 to release whole components 2010.01 release including Camel 2.2.0 and CXF
2.2.6 (already done on 2010.01-SNAPSHOT).
From my point of view, ServiceMix 4.2.0 should contain:
- latest Karaf release (1.3.0)
- NMR 1.2
- Bundles (latest release)
- Specs 1.5
- Features (I'm working today to upgrade features to latest bundles and API
(like CXF, woodstox, etc)

L.S.,
Moving this to the dev list because it seems slightly off topic for
the user list.
I thought the current ServiceMix 4.2.0 release plan was to go ahead
and just release the NMR and features projects as soon as the Felix
framework and Karaf bugfix releases were out. In fact, the 2009.02
components release has already been cut and if it hadn't been for
those last minute bug fixes in the Felix framework, we would probably
have had a ServiceMix 4.2.0 release a few weeks ago.
If we want to upgrade to Camel 2.2.0 (as Claus suggests) and CXF 2.2.6
(like what is mentioned on the release notes page now), this means we
will have to redo the entire components release or at least the
Camel/CXF bits.
I think it's important to make a decision on what bits we want to
include in this release and which ones we'll defer for the next
release, because with a project like ServiceMix we're bound to always
have some dependencies that are being updated.

Charles, Jean-Baptiste,
We have never created a release notes page at development time in the
past, but it might not be a bad idea to start doing this. I know that
e.g. the Apache Camel community is doing this and with great results.
The 4.2.0 release is coming up as soon as the pending Felix votes are
done, so I did take create an initial draft of the releases notes at
http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SM/ServiceMix+4.2.0+release+notes+(draft).
Both of you should have wiki edit rights, so feel free to start
adding to this page, it will save us some time when doing the release
because we only have to add the list of issues resolved at that time.
You may want to wait for the Camel 2.2 release to be included as
default which currently is in voting.

Hi Charles,
AFAIK not yet. Most of the time, we generate a release note using Jira
(it
includes all tasks/bugs between two releases).
