I just wanted to give a heads up that I am going to try to go ahead with some of the wiki organization and web site cleanup that we have discussed previously. The Confluence upgrade and related issues last week has delayed this a bit, but it seems like things are better now (maybe just because it is the weekend, so less traffic). One thing that has really helped is changing the wiki theme to the "documentation" theme which provides a page-tree navigation on the left side. This has made navigation and editing much easier but if anyone has issues or objects to it, let me know.
After some of the basic organization and navigation changes, Gert and I are also working on some mockups for new look and feel of the site which we will propose for review and comments. With any luck at all, hopefully we will have a modern and well organized web site here in a few weeks to go along with the documentation work being done by Gert and Jean-Baptiste. This is definitely going to be a community effort, so I invite anyone with an icla on file at Apache to help us out with review and contribution of tutorials and reference content for components, etc. If anyone has other suggestions or ideas please speak up!
