Feel free to chime in on Mule, but I'm more curious to see if anyone
has
chosen to build one up based on Camel and ServiceMix kernel. I first
thought I could achieve most of what I needed using Camel, but when
it came
to deployment and OSGi, it seemed to make sense to just use
ServiceMix.
However, given the seemingly lack of movement on JBI and from what I
can
tell, not really taking off as a standard, I'm not sure that I want to
introduce that additional layer of complexity and run-time
processing. Is
the NMR part (which I know is core to SMX) all that necessary or would
deploying OSGi bundles of camel and my camel routes on the kernel be
sufficient?
Hi,
Yeah, you can only deploy OSGi camel bundles on servicemix kernel
(Apache Karaf now) with out NMR feature if you don't want to JBI get
involved.

Please excuse my ignorance if I'm missing something more significant
about
SMX. I'm going to start working through some examples.
Thanks,
