Summarizing:
a) The unit test requires that mongod is running locally on the defult port
(couldn't embed it somehow and mocking it didn't have much value).
b) The mongo dependency used is the original one. As of today servicemix
provides its own bundle of the mongodb driver, so it may be better to use this
one instead.
