I'd like to express agreement with Mr. Schuring. A Spring config document is 
one particular type of XML document. It should be a well-written XML document. 
I use the STS editor to edit Spring files for ServiceMix, but I would much 
rather use oXygen, which I can use for virtually every other XML configuration 
with which I work, and I'm exceptionally flexible with regard to my selection 
of tools.

It doesn't seem to me that publishing the schemas in a Web-accessible location 
would be enormously difficult (although I may be missing something) and I would 
be happy to help make that happen.
