Hi,

first of all, happy new year to all ServiceMix devs.

I think that 2011 will be an important year for ServiceMix with interesting changes (better Camel integration, more tooling, integration of new project (Activiti ?, AutoDeploy/ACE ?), etc).

I know that I have already sent several e-mails about the same topic (sorry to bore you again with that :)), but, to give a more view to the users and better promote ServiceMix, we have to gear up:
- the new website promotion
- the documentation

For the documentation, Gert, Ioannis, etc begun the work and we can consider that it's in progress. All help is welcome (I will switch back on this task tonight).

For the website, Lukasz provide a beautiful website mock.

I propose to:
1/ promote and refactor the website. AFAIR, we have some technical issue around that, especially due to the usage of Confluence Wiki. I know that we can now use Apache CMS, maybe it can help us around that. Anyway, we can deploy directly HTML pages on minotaur but we have an issue for the change. Maybe we can consider the website as another project and manage the sources on svn (and make a script to deploy on minotaur every night or by Hudson). WDYT ? 2/ for the documentation, the target is to be able to provide a first user and dev guide with the ServiceMix 4.3.0. As we are not so far from the release, we need to focus on documentation now.

Regards
JB
