Gert Vanthienen commented on SMX4-753:
--------------------------------------
We're currently working on the 4.3.0 release, which has been delayed for a
while pending new release of both CXF and Camel, and I'd rather not do any
drastic changes any more and make sure we can get the release out.
We've had a few discussions on the dev list in the past, so I think we do agree
we want to make JBI optional in a future release. On the documentation
project, we already moved JBI out of the main user guide section and quickstart
guides to point new users to the brave new world of OSGi, CXF, ActiveMQ and
Camel ;)

> While creating the quickstart guide last night, I found myself needing to
> install the camel-activemq feature and having to add a component definition
> to be able to use the 'amq' component. We should make it as easy as possible
> for people to use ActiveMQ and Camel together in ServiceMix. In my mind, the
> XML file below should just work in a new ServiceMix installation.
