As suggested in

we are going to add one more packaging option in ServiceMix 4.4.0: a minimal
distribution which has none of the features preinstalled but which does come
with all the features descriptors loaded, the endorsed JAXP libraries, ... so
users can just pick the features they need to get get started without having
any of the overhead that comes with unused bundles being installed.
