Yesterday I released ODE 1.3.6, which is again compatible with SMX/Karaf,
tested against ServiceMix 4.5.2. So I think the bundle can be enabled again.
The feature is in Maven Central at
http://central.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/ode/ode-jbi-karaf/1.3.6/ode-jbi-karaf-1.3.6-features.xml
