Hi Gert, good, very good, I approve the approach of releasing both 5.0.1 and 5.1.0.
I've been very busy and I will be so for next months, I don't have time to help directly but I can promise at least that I will test both versions, by compiling on a couple of systems as soon as you create the tags, and test them with my software.
