Hi Gert,

Most of documentation content is "global" to a branch, not a minor release (most of the time ;)).

It makes sense to have a doc branch "global" to major release group. It's what we do in Karaf.

Up to now, we have always had documentation branches per minor version
of ServiceMix, e.g. we have http://servicemix.apache.org/docs/4.4.x/
and http://servicemix.apache.org/docs/4.5.x/

While preparing for the ServiceMix 5.1.x release, I was wondering if
we couldn't trim down the number of branches we need to maintain and
just publish a single http://servicemix.apache.org/docs/5.x/ doc base
instead? There shouldn't be that many changes between the various 5.x
versions that we need different sets of docs for them.
