-1 I have forgotten one my smoke test before starting the release -- try whether ActiveMQ stuff still works correctly after restart. This problem happens now. After restart all ActiveMQ bundles are installed correctly, but the ActimeMQ broker doesn't start. It's probably connected with a change in Karaf 2.4.2 because it's reproducible on plain Karaf. I have raised a JIRA issue in Karaf https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KARAF-3737.
I'm going to cancel the vote and remove the staging repository. Next we can decide whether to wait for a fix in Karaf or whether to downgrade ServiceMix to Karaf 2.4.1 and cut a new ServiceMix release Regards Krzysztof On 18.05.2015 21:18, Krzysztof Sobkowiak wrote: > Hi > > This is a vote to release Apache ServiceMix 5.4.1. > > The staging area is available at > https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapacheservicemix-1103 > > An overview of issues fixed in this release can be found in JIRA at > https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SM/fixforversion/12328811 > > The scm tag is available on > > https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=servicemix.git;a=tag;h=refs/tags/servicemix-5.4.1 > > Please vote to approve this release: > > [ ] +1 Approve the release > [ ] -1 Do not approve the release (please provide specific comments) > > This vote will be open for 72 hours. > > Regards > Krzysztof > -- Krzysztof Sobkowiak JEE & OSS Architect Apache Software Foundation Member Apache ServiceMix <http://servicemix.apache.org/> Committer & PMC Senior Solution Architect @ Capgemini SSC <http://www.pl.capgemini-sdm.com/en/>
